Vangator II Series®- Single Post Lift
The innovative Vangater II at once solves the problem of wheelchair access and ambulatory entry with a power tri-folding platform. Over half the wheelchair accessible van's side door is available for easy ambulatory exit and entry when the handicapped lift is in the stowed position. But the touch of a button quickly unfolds the platform, revealing a fully functional wheelchair lift in a compact package. For passenger comfort, the front seat can recline fully- a feature unique to platform lifts.
Vangator Series®- Single Post Lift - Mini Vans Only (2007 or older)
- Description:
- The Braun Mini-Vangater mounts on the left side of the passenger side doors. The operator opens the vehicle's door and activates the platform fold/unfold switch to unstow the platform into the horizontal position. For boarding, the lift is lowered to ground level by activating the lift up/down switch. After boarding, the front safety stops automatically engage as the platform is raised. After the user/passenger has exited the platform, the switch can be activated again to fold and stow the platform.
