The companion
seat base utilizes the Mini vans original passenger seat. By
opening the passenger door and pulling up a lever on the in board
side of the seat the seat manually spins and faces out the door.
Using a paddle switch on the seat base pod the seat automatically
extends a full 20" and tilts forward 6" to make boarding
easy. When the seat is not needed, it functions as a normal passenger
seat. A great Feature for active families with only one member
needing assistance.
User Requirements:
Semi-ambulatory.
Works best for user who can stand and hold on to the door for
a few seconds.
